A unique show packed with classic songs, old and new, by current female artists and the jazz legends that have inspired them.

With songs by artists including; Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday, Andrews Sisters, Caro Emerald, Amy Winehouse and Paloma Faith.

About Sarah…

Sarah studied at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts on a three year performing arts course.

As a dancer, she appeared in the  musical ”Joseph & his Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat” starring Phillip Schofield, and a six month tour of ”Hollywood & Broadway” with Wayne Sleep and Lorna Luft, as well as several pantomimes, cruises and cabaret shows.

After hanging up her dancing shoes, Sarah enjoyed a stint as a television researcher on various shows for Celador Productions and the BBC, before joining BBC Radio Kent where she was a producer for their drivetime show.

Now, having returned to her performing roots, Sarah has quickly built a reputation as a great jazz singer with a modern edge. Her versatile voice lends itself perfectly to the classic jazz tunes of yesterday but also to the edgier, pop songs of recent years. A true professional, with natural warmth and wit, this special lady charms every audience with her refreshing style.

The Miss Vintage show makes great use of Sarah’s vocal ability and pays tribute to some of her favourite female artists.  Perfect for corporate events, weddings, parties and any occasion where something unique, sophisticated and fun is required.

The Miss Vintage show was inspired by, and is dedicated to Sarah’s late father, Kenny Barker, a renowned jazz pianist.
